Abetone, Tuscany – Registrations for the 19-20 October 2024 edition of Abestone are now officially open, with two distinct categories based on the type of participation: race or motocavalcata. Here’s all the information you need on how to register.
Pre-Registration Process
Pre-registration is mandatory for both categories and can be completed through this link. For any doubts or questions, the organizers are available at [email protected].
After the pre-registration, you will move on to the next step, where we will direct you to the Sigma portal to complete the payment.
How to Register for the Race
To compete in the Hard Enduro race, participants must hold a racing license. Registration will be done through the MyFMI portal. If you are not yet registered, simply complete the online process. If you are already part of a motorcycle club, the club’s staff can assist you, though experienced riders will already be familiar with the procedure.
Motocavalcata Registration
If you only hold a club membership card, you can sign up by selecting the “Tessere” section and searching for the Abestone motocavalcata. If you’ve participated in other motocavalcatas, the process will feel familiar.
For new riders without a license or membership card, there are several options: with a non-competitive medical certificate, you can register for the motocavalcata by paying an additional fee for extra insurance. Alternatively, you can apply for a “one-event” competitive license by contacting the event organizers.
Race vs. Motocavalcata: Key Differences
It is important to note that the race features a more challenging course and an official ranking, whereas the motocavalcata does not have official standings. Additionally, if you hold a Training License, you will not be eligible to compete in the race but will still be allowed to join the motocavalcata.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of one of the most anticipated events of the year and experience the thrill of Abestone 2024 firsthand!
